MEET THE FOUNDER, MICHELLE MARTIN, JD
Michelle Martin, JD, is a powerhouse in law, leadership, and reinvention.
With more than two decades of experience in litigation, business ownership, and mentorship, she built a career defined by excellence, integrity, and resilience. From owning and managing The Martin Law Firm, Ltd. in Columbus, Ohio, to serving as the first Black Probate Magistrate in Franklin County, Michelle has dedicated her life to helping families, attorneys, and entrepreneurs bring structure, clarity, and justice to complex situations.
A Legacy of Leadership
As a former attorney and magistrate, Michelle mastered the art of balancing compassion with command in the courtroom. Her ability to translate complex legal systems into approachable, efficient processes led her to create PrettyProBae and EMLM Consulting — platforms designed to empower lawyers and law firms to work smarter, not harder.
Her legal workbooks, including The Ohio Name Change Workbook and Guardianship of a Minor in Ohio, are designed to make probate and family law more accessible to the everyday person — while equipping legal professionals with tools that save time, reduce stress, and maintain ethical excellence.

Her upcoming projects and keynote topics center on reinvention, legal entrepreneurship, and self-discipline, with a special focus on empowering women and Black professionals in law.

Now & Next
Today, Michelle splits her time between Ohio and Mississippi, continuing to expand her workbook series and Martin-Parker MedLegal Reports, a consulting company she operates alongside her husband, Dr. Victor D. Parker III, a physician. Together, they are building a legacy rooted in service, family, and Black excellence.
